Happy Halloween!

Today was another day of work at the rescue center.  Again in the morning we worked in the sloth garden. After getting all the leaves for the sloth someone brought in a raccoon that was hit by a motercyle! :( The raccoon is hurt badly and so is the motorcycle driver.  In the midday Poldo was getting super, super, super, super . . . . . . . . . . . hyper and was biting and scratching me all up. So we had to put him in his cage for the rest of the day.  At the end of the day at work (not the whole day ) since it was Halloween we went up to Anjelica (the chef for the animals) who doesn't know English and we said, "Trick or treat!" and she said, "… Que?" (that means "what") and we said, "Trick or treat!" and she said, "…Que?" So my mom told her in Spanish what we wanted and she gave us each a mini chocolate bar.  Mmmmm! Then we went up to Nadja who speaks English and we said, "Trick or treat", and she said, "What does that mean?" and we said, "It means you have to give us candy" and she said, "What? Ohh!"  Then she left for a second and game back with six mini packs of Oreos for Mia and I to share. We were so happy! Also Alain brought us some chocolate croissants from a bakery in Puerto Viejo and Siv gave us some caramels from Switzerland. Mmmmmmm! When we went home Irene and Alain came over and we all played a game of mexico. Alain won. Happy Halloween!
