We didn't see any :( |
Today we woke up at 6 o'clock in the morning and went on a boat ride around the canals. On the way we saw white-faced monkeys, sloths, caiman and a Jesus Christ lizard. We also got a video of it running on water!!!! Then we went back to our place and had breakfast and a quick dip in the pool. Then we went back on the boat across the river to Tortuguero National Park. To get into the park you had to wear rubber boots!?!? We had a nice hike in the jungle and saw a big troop of spider monkeys and some leaf cutter ants. We didn't stay too long though because we had to take the boat for a 2 hour trip back to the dock. We saw even more animals on the way back, including a cute baby spider monkey. Then we took a bunch of different vans to get to La Fortuna where we are spending the next four days. Once we got to the ecolodge we ate dinner and went to bed. Bye!
