Sad news

I got to hang out with Pipo this morning

Today we woke up and went back to the rescue center.  We are working in the sloth garden again.  There is one sloth there that stays in his cage because he had to have his arm amputated and he's still healing.  But today when we went to feed the three-armed sloth and he wasn’t there so my mom asked Nadja were he was and she said that they took him out of the cage to walk around a little and he climbed up so so high that they couldn’t reach him so they just let him go and said they would wait and see if he would come back. Then we went to feed a sick sloth that's in isolation and she wasn’t there either so my mom asked Nadja again were she was and she said that since it was so so sick and in a lot of pain they had to put her down! :( We were really sad. Later that day a new anteater came in because there was something wrong with its back leg. It was really cool. In the middle of the day it started to pour rain so we had to put all the animals back in their cages except for Stanley and the agouti. When all our work was done we went home had chick pea soup and went to bed. Adios amigos!
