Painting a mural with Carlos Hiller

Prepping the wall

Painting my fabulous creation

Me and Carlos Hiller

Stop! Hammer time!

The very rare "Elvis Fish"
Today we woke up and drove to a school in Playa Panama because Carlos Hiller was going to do some art on the school's wall. When we got there we met Carlos. He is really nice! Here is what we did to make the mural. First: we painted the rocks and water as the background on the wall. Second: we went in the school and watched a project (in Spanish!) that the teacher made about protecting the oceans. Third: we made stencils of lots of white fish on the wall for the school kids to color. Fourth: all the kids came out and painted fish. We painted the fish too! Fifth: all the kids got a picture taken with a hammerhead shark mascot. I thought the wall looked really oceany and pretty when it was done. After that we  went to the beach and I made a big sandcastle. Then we went home and had an hour of chilling. Because it is my Dad's birthday tomorrow and Mom is taking him on an trip overnight, we surprised him with a cake and presents. I got him some chocolates and a card. Then we went to bed.
Cool fact: my dad is turning 39.
